We're so glad you stopped by to check us out. Tunkhannock Pilgrim Holiness Church is made up of people from all ages and walks of life who are united by one common cause...an intense desire to love and serve Jesus!
We are a growing church that has seen significant moves of God over the last couple of years. On a typical Sunday morning you will find a pretty diverse collection of people...who God is working in and on in some amazing ways!

Adventure Bible Club (Kids ministry each Wednesday, (4:30-6:30PM)
Endless Mountains Christian Academy - Full Christian day school for grades K-12

Men's Prayer Breakfast (we usually meet once a month for prayer, coffee and breakfast)
Women's Night Out (usually meets once a month for a time of devotions and fellowship at someone's home or restaurant)

ABOUT OUR DENOMINATION:
The New York Pilgrims trace their organizational roots back to 1897, when first organized as the Pentecostal Rescue Mission of Binghamton, New York. For a time this growing group of churches shared organizational ties with larger denominational groups, but in 1963 the New York Pilgrims once more became an independent organization, and now the Conference has around 30 church.
In doctrine and practice we are conservative evangelicals of Arminian-Wesleyan persuasion. We believe the Bible is the only written word of God, with the original text inspired by God and without error.
We believe the Creator God has revealed Himself to us in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the necessity of personal salvation by grace through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is instrumental in leading a believer to recognize the need of holiness of heart, wrought instantaneously as a second definite work of grace when one's will is yielded to God's, therefore making it possible for him to love God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength.
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for the taking away of the universal Church of God.
Over the past 100 plus years, we have endeavored to maintain our original purpose and goal, which is to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spread scriptural Holiness.
Our purpose is to minister. Our function in God's Kingdom is to exalt Christ, encourage believers to experience holiness of heart, and to be anticipating Christ's soon return.
We extend a warm welcome that encompasses the hurting, the needy, the rich, the poor, all of every color and creed who have need of someone to share their cares.
